Les
Miserables
World’s longest
running London musical, Les Miserables is running with packed houses at the
magnificent Queens Theatre! This is one of the most loved sagas and made its
debut in the year 1985. The show made its opening with a lukewarm response and
was transferred from Barbican Theatre to the Palace Theatre.
The blockbuster
show was adapted from the Victor Hugo’s French novel and was set against the
backdrop of Revolutionary France. Les Miserables revolves around the plight of
convict Valjean and his struggles to escape law and to transform all his wrongs
into rights. Memorable score with some of the classic numbers such as ‘I
Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’ and ‘Bring Him Home by Alain Boublil and penned
by Claude Michel Schonberg are some of the major highlights of the blockbuster
show.
Immensely
talented star cast makes the show hugely popular amongst the theatre goers
featuring Sierra Boggess, Danielle Hope, Alfie Boe and Ramin Karimloo. The
powerful London show with gripping storyline makes the show a memorable
experience.

long show is a completely memorable experience for the theatre lovers. The show
is recommended for 7+ kids as its lengthy and also the subject matter. The
classic London musical, Les Miserables is a completely engrossing experience as
it features ‘sung through’ score in a quasi operatic style.

Laurence Oivier Awards, 1985 Laurence Olivier Awards and 1987 Tony awards for Best
