Phoenix Theatre

The award winning show, Chicago is all set to make its remarkable return to the London Westend, Phoenix Theatre! The show enjoyed immensely successful tours across the globe. On Broadway, the show celebrated its 21st anniversary and is now all set to make its London Westend return at the Phoenix Theatre. In the year 2012, the show was last hosted at the Garrick Theatre of London Westend. The spectacular production enjoyed 15 years of performance with several national and international tours. In the year 1975, the show made its original debut on Broadway, whereas the show earned huge acclamation for its 1996 revival under the direction ofWalter Bobbie featured Bebe Neuwirth and Joel Grey. The show went on earning six Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, and later transferred to the West End, and won two Olivier Awards including Outstanding Musical Production.

The popular Phoenix Theatre is positioned on the busy Charing Cross Road, located near Leicester Square. It is positioned in the heart of London with Piccadilly and Oxford Street at a walking distance from the theatre. Charing Cross Road features some popular bookshops, along with restaurants, cafés and bars.

The London Westend theatre, Phoenix Theatre is positioned near to Leicester Square tube station as it is to Tottenham Court Road. Leicester Square is located on the Piccadilly and Northern lines, whereas and Tottenham Court Road is on the Central and Northern lines. You can visit the theatre via bus numbers 19, 22, 24, 38, 40 and 176. You can also hire a taxi or drive your own car as the nearest car park is the Q-Park at Chinatown.

With astounding occupancy of 1,012 people on three levels, the auditorium is spread across Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle. The largest section is in Stalls as well as closest to the stage. They are positioned on the ground floor of the auditorium and offer brilliant views from most seats. Ticket prices are quite higher as compare to others. Dress Circle is the next section of the auditorium offering excellent views of the stage. Upper Circle is located above the Stalls and Dress Circle with highest seating area and affordable tickets.
